Do you have a retail board - bought yourself - or something built into a system from Fujitsu-Siemens, Packard Bell, HP or others ?

Hi bios gurus!

I have a P4S800MX-SE mb with the SIS661FX chipset. Following the instructions i flashed the bios with the modified one you provide and now I can see the 1600x900 resolution selection.

Although, whenever i choose it, the screen goes blank and an "out of range 74.5Khz/60hz" message appears on the screen (LG W2043T connected through VGA cable). I am using the 3.90 drivers version / Windows XP.

Any thoughts?
Thanks!

1366x768 doesn't work even with a patched bios. there are four options: go and blame SiS for their Windows drivers and wait for them to write a proper driver (which won't happen), buy a new rig, buy an add-on vga card (any recent ATI/AMD or NVidia will do) or just switch over to Linux as there's a 3rd party driver which can output (virtually) any resolution you want.
