I have a Compaq Presario with onboard video. I am trying to install Xtacy 9250, but when I do my computer will not turn on. I have updated my bios and tried every PCI slot. When I take it out the computer starts like normal. I even bought a new power supply (350w) and it still doesn't work. Please help!!

It could be the PCI slot version or other PCI compatiblity issues.

What chipset is in the motherboard, and on the video card?

Compaq Presario with onboard video -> (?)

XTASY RADEON 9250 PCI -> http://www.visiontek.com/9250.html

Does your computer not turn on or is it just the Monitor connected to your new VGA card ?
