Would it be possible to supply the system BIOS patched with the latest VBIOS? I don't mind losing TV-out support (can always revert if needed).

read the section about LAPTOP/NOTEBOOK. you will LOSE your main LCD with the patched bios.

According to my understanding from the sticky post, patched BIOS requests should be made the way I did. I made them on two different posts to make searching easier for other users.
I know I will lose the main LCD, it's damaged, anyway.

ah, okay. i didn't know that you don't need your main LCD anymore :) i'll send a patched version next week.
