What I know about the computer:
It has a motherboard made by a company named ECS.
It's motherboard model is L4S5MG3 Revision 1.0
It uses a SiS 650 chip for video.

Well, it's been attached to a Widescreen Viewsonic 22" monitor.
There aren't any widescreen resolutions (like 1440 x 900) available in the display settings in XP, so I tried to update the driver. I went to the SiS website and installed the driver they supplied. No luck... still no widescreen.

I read here that I will have to update the BIOS in order to make the widescreen settings available. Well that'd be simple if only I could just find the correct BIOS update and method of updating it.

I looked on the downloads page mentioned in one of the other thread, but I didn't see a BIOS update available for this motherboard.

Does anyone know where I can get the current BIOS update I need?

To use this I should use the flasher supplied by the motherboard manufacturer, correct? (Or is there a different flasher for these patched BIOSs?)

Also, thanks for the quick response time. If I manage to flash the thing without messing it up, I'll surely let you know if it works.
