Got this by email:
Good Day:

I have visited your VBios page and have attempted multiple times on two different computers to download the VBios file for an ECS K7SOM+ V5.2 motherboard. When I try to uncompress the file I consistently receive an error message that reads "File skipped unknown compression method". I have tried clearing the cache but with no success.

Would you please send me the VBios file directly or give me your opinion regarding what is going wrong.

Regards

Brent
Tested and indeed there's something wrong with the zipfile. CP?

Just downloaded and decompressed with Winrar - no problem here.

so, the news is version 3.20 of winrar can't open the file, 3.62 or newer can.

i'd use 7-zip anyway. it's free, it's powerful, it supports a large number of archives and (again) it's completely free. the best archiver i've seen so far and i've come a long way...
maybe we should place a link on the download page?
