Hello,

I bought a 21.5'' Dell u2211h lcd monitor but I can't set normally wide screen resolution on windows (1920x1080)- the screen is cutted on the right and bottom side. Now I work on 1280x1024 resolution, but the screen is stretched and look ugly. When I set 1440x900 monitor menu show 1280x720. When I set 1920x1080 monitor menu show 1360x768. Monitor connect through D-SUB. Only When I set 1280x720 monitor menu show also 1280x720 and screen is not stretched, but I want larger resolution.

I installed latest driver (UNIVGA 3.93), flash latest video bios 2.49 from motherbord site (http://europe.asrock.com/downloadsite/b ... (2.80).zip) and than I flash video bios 2.51 with the help of AMIBCP 7.60.04 utility - no results.

Thanks a lot

AFAIR there's no support for these resolutions in the SIS VGA Bios.
Better get a cheap VGA card for your AGP slot and enjoy the high resolution with imoeived image quality and an increased system performance.
-> ATI Radeon 9550/9600 should be very cheap at places like Ebay, just make sure they have VGA + DVI connectors and their cooling is passive. The newest AGP cards available relatively cheap should be nvidia 6200 series or Ati HD2400/3400 series (just make sure you get an AGP version as most offered are PCIe)
