I could use the same. I have a really old shuttle hooked up to a newer widescreen and it's painful.

It's a SIS 650/652 video card (ID strings show 652) with an old bios, Windows says:

Chip type: SiS 650
DAC: Internal
Memory: 32MB
Adapter String: Mirage
BIOS Information: 1.09.02

thanks in advance for any help.

thanks. I have installed the newer drivers, but the BIOS on the card is old. I found a post that says you will only get widescreen modes with newer BIOS.

Is that true?

Also, I am hooking to an HDTV with 1360x768. Samsung doesn't provide .infs for their TVs, so I guess I would have to roll my own for 1360x768?

thanks again.
