Can you please send it to me too. dczyz at hotmail dot com

Vista in 64bit mode crashes on the display adapter (MB video) and I hope that 3.14 hp fixes it. Really do not want to try that bios merge that whydoit found.

Hi All,

I'm having a problem trying to flash my BIOS to version 3.14.

I have Win XP 64bit and it seems that I cannot make the win flash program to run . I tried all the small bios flash programs, but I get different errors saying that the BIOS is not compatible or that the BIOS flash utility cannot run on this machine.

I would be glad if somebody could address me to the right utility to Flash my BIOS. I would prefer not to use the DOS boot disk because I don't have a floppy.

Thanks in advance for your advice

Dob.

I any of the other owners can come up with a bootable flashing CD that would be nice. However, I think in this case temporarely hooking up a floppy drive will be your best option short of installing a quick-n-dirty windowsXP 32.

It won't even work in safe mode?

Am I one of the few people who has no issues with Bios 3.13? I have a Compaq SR1720nx (3500+ sempron), and everything seems to be running fine. I recently purchased an athlon 4000+ processor, should i upgrade my bios to 3.14 when I install it? Where are these issues coming from?

thanks in advance.

PS
please send the 3.14 bios to glasuan at gmail dot com just in case :)

100% usage of your CPU, unexplained crashes etc. The majority of this comes from people loading XP on their system instead of the MCE version from what I see. It usually starts after they have used the 3.13 bios from the website. If yours came with 3.13 originally it may not have the same problems. Then again, you may not have noticed it was very slow compared to what it was before the "upgrade". You've got mail.
