Thanks for the info--it adds more weight to the possibility that the 3.14 bios is aimed at Media Center systems with A64 processors and exhaust fans.

If you look in Device Manager, do you have an "AMD Away" entry in System Devices? If so, did you specifically put it there, or was it installed automatically?

Got it, thank you

bflash wouldn't work ("not award bios" error) so i tried the regular award flash (flash.exe) version 8.33d that i had for my msi board and it worked perfect...

The winflash as found on the esupport.com website (mentioned elsewhere) is also reported as being successfull, as is the right version fo bflash. reports with a regular award dos flasher vary.

I need the 3.14 too please!!
Have a Pavillion a1330n.
Athlon 64 3800+
BIOS 3.13

Loaded with Media Center.
Wiped and loaded XP Pro. I got one unknown device and the SYSTEM process slowly works it's way up to 100% usage rendering the PC useless...

help!

Hey can someone plz send me the 3.14 bios also, i have looked many places and this is the only forum that has it. you can email me or i think someone should upload it somewhere it thats allowed on this forum, it would solve a lotta peoples problems wit this mobo. thnx in advance
