Hi! after long time...
Sorry Moderator, I do not know it is right forum for my question...
The problem is:
I have NIC Realtek 8029 with empty =28 pin= socket for flashrom.
I would like to make it as bootable NIC for my old comp... I have tried to get info from many www sites about flashroms, but no results - too many chips&info for me B-)))...
Which kind (type) of flashrom do I need to flash it with BIOS for NIC as I described it above?
Tnx for any advice,
Tomasz.

There are three bootroms included in the RPL Boot ROM program file, depending on whether the chip you find is 16KB, 32KB or 64KB.

The first problem is gone! I found a shop with FlashROMs 28 DIP.
They cost ~2,5euro...
But the next:
-how to flash that chip..? into my NIC socket? Or into original mobo socket with "hot-flash"..? And it has 32 pins...

My Intel EtherExpress PRO-10+ ISA card flashes right in the NIC socket, using Intel's program for this card.
