Re: DFI P2XBL Rev DA+
all is well plugged: the wire, the drive, the jumper with the 32 GB limit. It's rare, because the first configuration I used recognised the drive(when I plugged as slave), but since the second test plugging it as master, the bios doesn't arrive to the drives inspection- it arrives only to the "penti...

Re: DFI P2XBL Rev DA+
you can use the oldfashioned DOS flash method from a bootable floppy disk. information on how to do that is available in the Bios FAQ section of the site. yes, you're right, I was wrong with the file to download. But one question: my revision is DA+. So what BIOS do I have to download? The D revisi...

K6XV3+/66 jumpers doubts
Hi people! I'm trying to use this motherboard, but I'm not sure how I have to configure the jumpers. I'm using AMD K6 II 550MHz, 3 RAM modules of 128MBytes each one, and I can read in the manual that it's a PC133: That's my current configuration, but the PC has a strange behaviour and it hangs or re...

Re: DFI P2XBL Rev DA+
Thanks Edwin!
I've seen now that the DFI drivers need a Windows installation to update the bios. At the moment, it's quite difficult for me because I don't have any old drive that the bios can recognize.
Anyway, I will try it in some way.

DFI P2XBL Rev DA+
Hi people! I've used this motherboard during 10 years whitout problem. There have been 2 drives plugged during years: 7GB drive and 80 GB drive, booting from the 7GB drive because the 80GB drive has never been recognised by this motherboard. Now, the 7GB drive is crashed so I need the motherboard re...

Sorry, when I wrote: 3.- I hear one correct beep, the correct information of the BIOS appears on the screen, I boot from some Linux Live CD, whose logos appears with same areas with changed shades of colours, and in one unspecified point of time, system hangs or reboots itself. I wanted to write: 3....

I have to add that yesterday was the day I booted this PC long ago. I did a lot of boots trying to determine the cause. I had to change the 3V cell because I was getting the message "CMOS checksum failed" or something similar. Now it doesn't show this message. But the behaviour done by the PC descri...
