newbie need help

ok guys..i,m no good with all these bios things etc..anyway..yesterday my friend updated my bios.(p3 600) cause it was neccesary , because i wanted too put in a p3 933 proccesor..but now he is long gone:),,but i cant use my game port..i cant get my jostick working..i looked all over etc..and evrything seems ok..but it just wont work. i just bumbed into something. some where..dont ask me how:)..but i saw there..2 things
one about the new bios update and the second about plug & play bios removed..couldt that be the problem.maybe somebody out there can help
