cannot access bios

system bios shadowed, vidio bios shadowed. i push f2 to enter setup but it says entering setup but screen stays frozen. what to do? please help. thank you
I would try using the clear CMOS jumper and/or removing battery for a while. Maybe the BIOS just has garbage stored in it and is causing the lock-ups.
I am not sure whether BIOS shadowing is best to enable or disable but I tend to leave these settings on their defaults.
