hi any1 know how to get into bios on compaq armada e500 lost pass word want to change boor seq. and load xp pro

If killcmos (look for it with google) doesn't help, then contact Compaq.

I don't know how easy this is with a Compaq laptop but with an AWARD BIOS I once ran the AWDFLASH program with all the clearing options, but also with switches to tell AWDFLASH not to program or backup the BIOS. I imagine the same could be achieved with UniFlash. It is the software oriented way in which I sucessfully cleared a BIOS password which is equivelant to the Clear CMOS jumper.
