PCI/PnP Error Resources Conflict Ethernet Controller

Hi Everyone,

I am new to the issues surrounding BIOS hence I have landed myself in a bit of a pickle. I will appreciate if someone could help:

I have a Lenovo ThinkCentre A53 with WinXP. It has Phoenix Bios. Without taking any due precaution, I installed a Dual-View NVidia VGA on the ISA slot (the black coloured expansion slot). As a consequence, at bootup, I see a "PCI/PnP resources conflict error" related to the Ethernet Controller on the Motherboard. I hadn't realised that the ISA slot is not the usual expansion slot. I am however able to carry onto the WinXP but am unable to use the ethernet.

Is it at all possible to fix the problem?

Thanks a lot in advance for all the comments and suggestions !!

If you look under device manager and you see an exclamation mark next to the ethernet controller, right click on it and select properties. If you see error code 10, then follow these steps: Restart the computer and enter BIOS setup screen, highlight PNP/PCI Configuration, then highlight PNP OS installed change "No" to "Yes".
