CDROM not recongnized by cmos ide autodetection function !!!

Hello every body
I have a P55XB2 motherboard from Iwil manufacturer, I want that the Setup detect de CDROM but it only detect de hard disks so that at init th computer always autodetect de cdrom lagging the post,.
I flashe the motherboard with the latest upgradre from iwil xb20701.bin, but the setup still no detect the cdrrom
at post appeat it
AWARD MODULAR BIOSD V4.51PG
Plug and Play bios extension V1.0A
...
whe I enter to the setup utility in his title say
ROM PCI/ISA BIOS (2A59II3A)

What I have to do to fix this problem?

nope. there are no CHS parameters for a CDROM so it needs to be autodetected on every boot.

What is your IDE drive setup ? HDD on Primary IDE and CDROM on Secondary IDE?

Enter Bios and use the Autodetection funktion. This should enter all HDD found to the Standard CMOS setup. It may even enter ATAPI or CDROM to the port your CDROM is connected to (usually Secondary Master).
