40GB: 12/22/1998-Aladdin5-2A5KKBODC-OO

I wondered if anyone could help me
I am trying to identifiy the correct bios up grade and the manufacturer of my main board. I wish to add support for a 40Gb HDD 5400 (Maxtor)
I have found the following details but can not find it listed on this site.
Award software ROM PCI/ISA
ID) C2A5KKBOD 12/22/98
BIOS SIGNON 12/22/1998-Aladdin5-2A5KKBODC-OO
BIOS TYPE Award Modular Bios V4.51PG
CHIPSET Ali M1541 REV4
OEM SIGNON ALA1222B
The Instruction book has no ref toward the Manufacturer apart from it says it has an Intel i430TX Chipset / Intel 82340TX PCI SET I am running an AMD K6 (2) 350 Chip.
Regarding the matter of the board manufacturer if some one could tell me where to find this out or where to look on the board itself It would be very much appreciated.
I have a limited knowledge of PC so if it could be kept simple i would be grateful.
