Hi
I need help. I have a new seagate HD, 80 GB, ST380021A. The BIOS does'nt recognice it. I'm looking for a BIOS upgrade for:

Program: Unicore BIOS Wizard Version 1.8
Program: Unicore Chip Detect v0.72 2000.03.10
BIOS Date: 04/02/99
BIOS Type: Award Modular BIOS v4.51PG
BIOS ID: 04/02/1999-i440BX-W977TF-BX-440B-SH
BIOS Eval: BX-440B VER:1.1 06 WB
Chipset: Intel 440BX/ZX rev 3
Superio: Winbond 977TF rev 0 found at port 3F0h

Any help?

It's not that board - the BIOS is for W977EF Super I/O chip (not W977TF) "03/07/2000-i440BX-W977EF-MAX-BX2C-SI". Looke like it's the Atrend one "05/25/1999-i440BX-W977TF-BX-440B-VH".

Hello

When I try upgrade with http://www.amaxhk.com/support/download.htm

and the awdflash say:

¡The program file's part number does not match with your system!

What can I do?

The version at: http://www.nix.ru/support/drivers.html? ... vendor=129

is:
05/25/1999-i440BX-W977TF-BX-440B-VH
BX-440B VER:1.1 07 WB

BTW, this BIOS doesn't have support for large HDDs either.

Looks like the Amax page on Wim's Bios Manufacturer Links needs fixing, as that BIOS string is listed under Amax.
