Have checked the Chaintech site for upgrade, but nothing for large drives. Anyone a clue where I might get something to help?

It's Chaintech board but which one? Check for something like 6BTA3 printed on the board.

Yes, it is a 6BTA3. Chaintech only have one update for this BIOS which does not claim to have large disc support.

The latest BIOS is "12/28/1999-i440BX-8671-2A69KC39C-00"
http://www.chaintech.com.tw/FILES/6xMB/6BTA3C28.EXE and supports HDDs up to 128GB.
