64GB: Chaintech 6-btm

I recently posted in motherboards.org about this and got the following reply:
"Depending on Bios Release date the 4.51PG has a 32GB or 64GB Bug or no Bug .
If it has one of the BUGs try a newer Bios from Chaintech first and with BUG still alive jump to www.wimsbios.com and let your Bios patched for HDD up to 64GB or up to 128GB .

My BIOS is 08/2000 and there are no further updates on the chaintech site for this board.
Can I still workaround this problem ?
