Hi,
got a problem with a new 80GB HD from WD. My bios cant detect the hd.
MAINBOARD: TEKRAM P6B40-A4X
Went to
www.tekram.com and downloaded the newest bios upgrade, t worked but the bios cant still detect the HD.
Is it possible to overlay?

sorry it didnt work.
Is it possible that you patched the beta version? cuz that version didnt work at all on my mainboard.

By "didn't work" do you mean it won't support the HDD or that it won't boot at all now?

the bios is not recognized ... its a beta.
Well the machine boots and hd is not being detected.

I patched this one (found on my HDD):

TRM-P6B40-A4X V1.11B0
I have also this one:
10/11/2000-i440BX-W83977-2A69KTG9C-00
TRM-P6BX-A4X v1.10
Do you want this one patched? What does/does not the BIOS do?

could u please patch v 1.10. That one is working but doesnt detect the hd ... thanks

Hi, I'm having the same problem as fred. I tried flashing to the updated 1.10 and then the 1.11b versions, but neither have worked. The bios freezes in the middle of booting. Any help would be appreciated.
