Hi, i try to find a bios Update tu use a 40GB HD on my MSI MS-6168 V2, it seems to be a AMI Bios.
If You have this bios Update I'm verry happy to receive this.

The only updates at MSI are AWARD BIOSes.

Okay, i see that but the Bios update wich is avalaible on MSI website is for MSI-6168 V1 and not for MS- 6168 v2. I bought my pc on an supermarket LOL, It's a brand Like Packard Bell.

ps: perhaps the Award bios can pass on AMI bios.

Seems to be an OEM-only version of the 6168 .
All support has to come from Pack Bell .
If they have nothing newer get an UDMA Controller card .

okat Thanks for pictures but between PB and Msi , Msi provide just Award Bios and PB or Star + provide ms-6168 with AMI bios.

If AMI vs Award is the only difference between the boards then you can use Award BIOS. But it's possible that there are some other differences - Bora and Bora Pro have the same pictures but different BIOSes.
