Does anyone have an updated bios for this mobo. Their site is down forever :( and I don't want to use a disk manager (hdd is a Maxtor) because I've heard I cannot boot from cdrom (only from hdd and floppy).
If anyone have an updated bios I might give a try.

Can you give us clue on the model ? What is the BIOS OEM message (under the Award logo, at top left of the memory count screen) e.g "Intel 440LX Rev. C"
Tested patched BIOSes. Untested patched BIOSes.
Emails *will* be ignored unless the subject line starts "Wim's BIOS forum"

Might be some version of LuckyTech P6LX3 - please save your BIOS to a file and send it to my e-mail. I will patch it for you.

Sorry for the delayed reply.

The string at boot sequence reads : Intel 440LX3 REV 1.5 (FOR W-02).

Looks like a very specific version of the LX3 with a Winbond clockgen.

BIOS ID string: 03/05/1999-i440LX-W83977-2A69JSHHC-00
Original BIOS OEM string: Intel 440LX3 REV: E

there's a patched version at my sig. for testing
Tested patched BIOSes. Untested patched BIOSes.
