I am looking for an award bios upgrade for a totem motherboard.

The ID string is

02/09/1999-693-686-W977-2A6LGTJBC-00

This seems to translate into the following information

Board/BIOS Version: TM-VA370AT Ver: 1.1
Chipset: 693-686-W977 (Via Apollo Pro Plus (692/596)

The current BIOS is: Award Modular BIOS V4.51PG

I had to replace a disk on a friend's used computer she bought and the current version of the BIOS does not recognize the Maxtor 60GB hard disk.

All the sites on the net point to a totem web site that does not respond anymore. Probably because Totem was bought (or merged) with Phoenix

The date looks just about right. I have downloaded the file you refered to and will try it in a couple of days (Like I said its a friends computer - won't see him untill then)
