40GB: PcChips M598

the bios hangs when i try to autodetect the hard drive!!!
if i add the hd parameters manually the size that appear in the bios is 8gb not 40gb.

Help us to help you. Please read the rules and post the details of your current BIOS. Sounds as though you need an upgrade.

The latest BIOS releases for the M598 have no problems with large HDD support.
