i tried the patched file and got an error message said wrong checksum
i am using award flashing util

bios id 2A69KH2EC
bios date 02/02/01
bios signon 02/02/2001-i440bx-ite867-2A69KH2EC-00

i was wondering what i did wrong or was it in the file

Did you extract the .bin file from the .zip and the flash utility say there was a checksum error on the .bin file when you came to flash ? Or after flashing did you get a BIOS checksum error or CMOS checksum error ? More info, please.

i got the checksum error on the .bin file when i came to flash
but i have figured it out that the award flash utility i was using was bad
i downloaded uniflash and it work fine

i know have a 80 gig hd installed
