motherboard: Soyo V6BE+
It seems that Soyo does not have a BIOS upgrade image associated with this particular motherboard. Does anyone know whether I can use another BIOS upgrade image in order to support 40GB HD?

Hi Will
I've drawn a blank too - but we can patch your present BIOS to remove the 32GB bug and maybe the 64BGB bug. If you can save it with the utility of your choice (Award flasher, Uniflash, etc), zip and e-mail it...

Thank you Rainbow and Nick for the replies. I tried out Rainbow's VBE-2AA4 patch and it detects my 40GB HD. Thank you very much!

Good stuff - your old 2AA2 BIOS only takes the 32GB part of the patch - Rainbow's utility says "no- X-Group Block found".
