Tried to add a new HD. Doesn't recognizes the HD. Any Help?

What size drive are you trying to use??? Also kind of a dumb question but whats the model number printed on the board surface "P2B-?"

There are vseveral versions of the Asus P2B board. Not totally sure as to what the differences between them is as far as the hard drive capacity....

I have a plain old P2B and have had a 20GB drive on it no problem what so ever....

The latest BIOS is:

It supports HDDs up to 128GB.

Just done the above and HD is now shown

Was trying to install WD400 Hard Drive.

Now for the rest of the system.
