I have an 80 GB Maxtor Hard drive. It will only detect up to 64GB.
Can I get a bios patch please?

The BIOS patch is only for Award BIOSes. An AMI BIOS of that date should not have this problem, so consider other things as well, such as the limits of the OS or FDISK. Are you trying to use a single partition ?
Does the BIOS report the full capacity of the drive on power-on self test ?
