Possibly stupid question

OK - this may well fall into the realms of stupid question. If so, I apologise in advance.

I have been to http://wims.rainbow-software.org and downloaded the upgrade for HP Brio BA600, BAx, Vectra VEi8 (MiTAC 6110ZU/VA).

In the zip file there is a .bin file, and a .txt file. It is obvious from the .txt file that the usage of the .bin file is to perform the flash. So far so good.

The usage as described in the .txt file indicates using a command as follows:

D:\Hardware\HP\BIOS>..\..\award\awd64gb QHW1001.BIN

My question is, where can one find awd64gb.exe

I have searched on the Rainbow Software page, and also searched google with no result.

Can anyone advise?

Cheers

Tony

AWD64GB was the utility used to patch the BIOS file, and isn't public domain software.
What you need in order to flash is a recent version of the Award flasher (AWDFLASH).
