40gb: 09/02/96-82430HX-PI55T2P4C-00

I have:
Award Modular Bios v4.51PG
the serialnumber which is printed on the screen is
09/02/96-82430HX-PI55T2P4C-00
with an Intel PCIset chipset
SB82371SB
on the mainboard is printed PII-P55T2P4
Now i want to update (with backup if possible)
my bios, so it can handle with a 40 GB harddisk
But i don't know where to find the updated bios.
is it a problem, when there is a scsi bios at the moment too?
i want to remove the scsi device, but i don't now, whether to
delete any software or disconnect an chip.
when my first problem (bios) and this one doesn't bother each other
just say.
