i recently bought a 80BG Baracuda 7200.2 hard disk and also have flash my bios using the latest update from Iwill. but still can't detect my new hard disk and it hangs half way thru ide detection. could anyone help me out ? thank a million!

i tried your patch yesterday ..... it working fine ever since ....thanks a million..... but there's a questions i would like to ask .... how come the bios update from the Iwill site can't be used and it hangs while doing hdd detection and your update don't? will appreciate any answers...... thanks again!

There's a known BUG in the Aware 4.51PG Bios kernel (32GB and 64GB)

Award corrected this BUG somewhere between 4-6/99 but not all mabufacturers shipped a new Bios with this BUG corrected

Our Forum Mod Rainbow developed a patching program to remove these two bugs (only for internal use here)
