I just bought a 80 Gig Western Digital Drive and after installing it, my BIOS can not recognize it. After searching all over the web for answers, I've come to realize that I need to upgrade my BIOS. The only issue is that I can't seem to find a BIN file that matches my board. Any help would be great.

BIOS Type : Award Modular BIOS W4.51PG
BIOS Date : 10/30/98
BIOS ID : 10/30/1998-i440LX-W977-2A69JG0EC-00
OEM Sign-On : Intel 440LX AGP Bios for Pentium(R) II Processor V.2.2
I/O : Winbond 977TF rev 0 found at port 3F0h
Chip Set : Intel 440EX/LX rev 3

pls send me changtraizuitinh2003@yahoo.com

A Google search says that is a Gigabyte GA-686LX4
Latest BIOS is the beta at
http://www.giga-byte.com/Motherboard/Su ... 686LX4.htm
I know that says HDD up to 40GB, but Rainbow's patcher says it is OK up to 128GB:

BIOS ID string: 12/26/2000-i440LX-W977-2A69JG0EC-00
BIOS OEM string: Intel 440LX AGPSet BIOS for 6LX4 V2.4d
INT13h Extensions...Present: new-style
=> BIOS already supports HDDs over 32GB!
Searching for size calculation routine...Not found
Searching for SETUP size calculation routine...is already OK
Searching for SETUP size calculation routine...Not found
BIOS already supports HDDs over 32GB & 64GB - Nothing to do!

So what's your board? Check what's printed on it.
