My BIOS won't work with this big drive. Have a Lucky Star mobo and tried their site but could not get it to come up. Would appreciate help.

Thanks, ajzchips. The problem I had was when I tried to boot after putting in the 80G drive, it just hung when it came to the 80 drive, would not boot.

I already have the au6-3 BIOS version, and I think I have a ver. 1 5MVP3, so I'm worried about whether the ones that say ver 4.0+ will work.

That sounds less scary. I'm afraid if I get too ambitious I'll make it where it won't work at all. I'm just chicken and want to be cautious.

I haven't had a chance to try the patch yet because of travelling and not wanting to mess up my system while I will be gone, but thanks for the patch. I will let you know what happens when I try it.
