Hi,
I just bought a new Western Digital 40GB HD and my old Bios won't recognize it. The MotherBoard is a Freetech P6F90i and I can't find a BIOS upgrade on their website.

BIOS Date: 08/04/1998
BIOS ID: 08/04/1998-i440LX-W977TF-2A69JF2LC-00
Motherboard Manufacturer: Freetech
Motherboard Model: P6F90i

It looks as though there is a later (17 March 1999) BIOS at tacktech - http://www.tacktech.com/display.cfm?ttid=94 which will probably not support big HDDs either, but I will check it out.

I patched the BIOS and emailed it, but you do not accept email from my email address. I will post it at the "untested" link in due course.
