40GB: Dataexpert 8661

Hi,
I just bought a new maxtordiamondmax plus 8 40GB HD and my old Bios won't recognize it. The MotherBoard is a DataExpert 8661 1.0 and I can't find a BIOS what see more then 8.4 Gb.
I used bios 1.1 and 1.11 and 2.2 that i could find.
BIOS Type: Award Modular BIOS v4.51PG
BIOS Date: 12/23/1997
BIOS ID: 09/03/1996-i430VX-2A59GD09C-00
Motherboard Manufacturer: Dataexpert
Motherboard Model: 8661 1.0
Chipset: Intel 430VX Intel Triton-VX
Is a patch possible?

If it has 32GB support we can patch it, but not if it only has 8.4GB.
