A patch would be nice. I don't think that this mobo can see HDs over 30GB as of now...
Planning to make this comp a file server or something similar.
Latest BIOS can be found here:
http://www.dfi.com.tw/Support/Download/ ... =A&SITE=US
NOTE. My model is REV.C
Oh, it's award BIOS
Thx

Hi -Jk-
Jan Steunebrink (aka BiosMan) patched my DFI 586IPVG Rev. AD+ for up to 128GB HD, while also modifying it to be able to run the AMD K6-2/III + Series CPU's.
While you don't have the (easy) ability to run one of those, I'm sure Jan's patch will work for your HD problem.
Jan can be e-mailed at
J.Steunebrink@net.HCC.nl, and you can visit his website at
http://web.inter.nl.net/hcc/J.Steunebrink/Index.htm.
Alternately, one of the associates here can try their HD patch utility on your BIOS.
Good Luck!!

Ok I applied the patch and everything seems to be working OK. Thanks
I can't test with a big HD yet as I ordered it a few days ago and I haven't received it yet. It works fine with the 500MB one I have in it now though.
