Check your mobo to find out whether you have the standard BH6 or BH6 V1.1

Last two digits of your Bios-Id are missing - they work as Bios version identifyer at Abit .
According to your Bios date and your "standard BH6" meaning BH6 1.0x your two ID letters should be
KG

What's your full Bios-ID ?
-> Note the last two digits and you should find them listed in the BH6 1.0x Bios List .
Then use the latest available Bios but please read the update Guide at the site there before flashing !!

03/11/1999-i440BX-W83977-2A69KA1EC-KG
would be the full ID you see when your machine starts up at the bottom of the screen.
bh6ss.exe woudl be the upgrade to use in that case.
