80GB: 01/25/1999 i440LK-W977-2A69JM4OC-00

Hello, im new to this...i have bought a new 80GB hard drive, and my mother board doesnt seem to support it...its Western Digital, and i downloaded the newest Flash Bios from the MSI site, yet it still wont detect it, if you have any ideas, help would be very much appreciated.
