120GB: Jetway J-598B

I have a Jetway J-598B motherboard that will not detect my Maxtor 120GB HDD over 32GB. The Maxtor Drive overlay will not help either. I found (what I think is) the latest bios at both the Jetway and J-Mark website (same bios version, B01), but it did not remove the 32GB barrier. As far as I understand this is a bug in the Award Modular 4.51PG bios. I have heard that there is some kind of mod that can be done to a current bios version to fix this, but I am completely clueless as to how to modify a bios and would like some help. Anyone who can help me get my 120GB HDD to work would be greatly appriciated. Thank You in advance.

Please give us your full Bios-ID and a link to your Bios !
Then one of the mods will take a look and try to patch it.

Third Line on the POST screen reads: V.598B B01 11-23-1998
Last Line reads: 11/23/1998-VP3-586B-W877-2A5LEJ1DC-00
