This is what the Bios Agent told me...
My motherboard is a CT-6BTMO-N100
A new hard disk of 200Gb wasn't recognised. I made partitions and now he does recognise it. Do I need an update of my bios?
Thanks for the help...

Your Intel BX chipset doesn't have native support for HDDs over 120GB.

So an update won't really help to solve that problem...
Thanks for the information.

It is possible to patch the Bios to recognize it as 128/137Gb HDD, that's the maimum size a 4.51PG Bios supports. All above has to be supported by your OS (W2K/XP/Linux).
But it's possible to limit the drive to 32GB by setting the jumper and the OS should be able to adress the space above 32GB.

Thanks for your reaction. My pc is working fine right now. Since I made it 2x100 Gb (partitions). I was just wondering if it could be that I needed an update for my Bios to prevent future problems... I think I will change my motherboard in september or august. My pentium III (450MHz) is becoming old
Thanks for the reactions and so long...
