Hi

I have a 120Gb seagate IDE drive that I am trying to get a PC CHIPS slot1 motherboard to see. I have flashed it with the latest bios I could find but it hasn't helped. Here are the detail I have:

Chipset: BXcel PC100 HT1543
AMI bios updated to 22/07/99
61-0330-001437-00111111-071595-ALI1621_M726_V3.4-5123-H

I hope this is sufficient info.

Thanks in advance,
Nash.

Well, PcChips says:

Dear customer:
We do not have a list of HDD support. However, all motherboard from this link might only support up to ~32GB of HDD.
http://www.pcchipsusa.com/support-disco ... anuals.asp
All motherboard from below link should support up to ~137GB:
http://www.pcchips.com.tw/PCCWeb/Downlo ... 45&LanID=0
All new motherboard might support bigger hard driver than 137GB.
However some might only support up to ~137GB.
