Hi, i have this board, with the BIOS in the topic.

BXA839D

There is a BIOS update on the site, but i have a feeling it wont let me run a 120gig drive. The upgrade on the site appears to be from around 00/01.

I'm looking to buy a new 120gig HDD (or maybe larger if i can) to run with it so it would be good to know if one will work :)

Sorry to be a bit vauge about what is currently working with this board/BIOS, but the motherboard is all i have atm, i need to get a case+RAM still. So if anyone knows whether larger drives will work it would be very helpful.

Thanks

IIRC, the latest BIOS update supports large HDDs correctly.

If BIOS update doesn´t remove size limitation, you can install a PCI to IDE card and connect hard disks to this controller.
