I have just got hold of two new hard-drives, a 60gb maxtor, and a 120gb samsung. After installing them the computer won't boot. I think the bios only supports up to 32gb here are the details from bios wizard:

What degree of risk does this involve. Could it just be buggy if not 100%, or could it corrupt the computer and make it unusable. Sorry but i've never tried a beta bios of any kind before.

Flashing is always risky, even with "untouched" official BIOS releases. The HDD patch does not affect the PC's bootability, so if the official BIOS is ok, the system should boot.
