Hello

Someone asked me to solve a problem with a Biostar m6tlc mainboard
so his kid can use it again
he did try to flash it and something did go wrong board wouldn't even post anymore then he tried to pull of the chip and broke it so had to use another one

the 32 pin chip /prom used on the biostar board was a 28Cxxx
the new one came of a Asus P/1 P55tpv4 and was is 29ee010

and i hotflashed it on the asus with uniflash with the tlc0306b.bin
carefully pulled the chip off, placed it on the biostar

booted the biostar and it posted tried to set the cmos that worked

But it won't regonize any hd even the old once 8gb, 4gb, 540mb and 85mb

ide is fine a boot from cd works with windows xp or knoppix
anyone any suggestion's????

:?:

ow almost forgot i've tried to flash the biostar again with uniflash same file didn't solve the problem

and also mem testing takes some time cycle's 3 time's even with quick boot enabled.

checking hd with cmos setting auto on all four ide devices takes to long
on the ide device where the hd is put.
the board regonize the cd-rom almost at once

stil trying
