Good day everybody,

I have about the same story as previous questions, slightly other details.
The BIOS does not recognize my WD 80 GB hard disk

The BIOS CODE
BIOS Type: Award Modular BIOS
BIOS ID: 12/02/1999-692-596-w977-2A6LGM4EC-00
BIOS Eval: W6154VMS V2.1 050500

It is an MSI board but i'm confuse with the bios in there site which are ms-6154 and ms-6154va. The board marking is ms-6154 ver: 2 .
What should I do ?
Any help would be much appreciated.

The original MS-6154 (aka MS-6154 V1.0) has an Intel chipset.
The later MS-6154VA (aka MS-6154 V2.0) has a VIA chipset, which is your case.

It's the Via chipset version.

MSI Site - There are versions 2.0 - 2.4 Which one should I take ?

Your actual BIOS version is 2.1.
The latest one is 2.4:
