This is an MSI (MicroStar) motherboard OEMed by Maxdata. I'll see what can be found, but meantime maybe you would like to save your existing BIOS, zip and email it to me? Put "Wim's BIOS" at the start of the subject line to avoid being discarded as spam.

I looked at a BIOS for the generic MSI MS6119 V1.2 a while back.
MSI MS-6119 v1.2 (MS-6119 CPU PnP) BIOS
OEM message: W6119MJ V2.9 120100 patched for HDD to 128 Gb
BIOS ID: 08/03/2000-i440BX-W977-2A69KM4AC-00
This patch does not correct hang-up problems with Standard CMOS Setup and IDE Autodetect menu. You may have to disconnect your HDD to enter Standard CMOS setup.
I guess it could be patched with apple_rom's patcher...

I suggest you create a basic bootable DOS diskette from an image ("Driver free disk for BIOS flashing") at
http://www.bootdisk.com/ and use
Uniflash to read out the binary.

THANK YOU KURIAKI, that was speedy!!
And the chance that the board (Ver. 1.2 BX2) will not be destroyed after flashing are good

- although its "beta"?
Now i need a Bootdisk (eg. the one that was created from the Link above (NickS) and copy the AWDFL757.EXE and the 10B9B_19.IDE on the disk.
In the Flash-Programm i use then the 10B9B_19.IDE File for updating.
Is this the correct way?? The .IDE File has 256KB, i think the Original has 128kb - ist this a problem?
Thanks a lot, i will inform you about the results!!
