Looking for manuals etc for above chipset/motherboard. Will not recognise 40GB HDD, treats 4GB as 2GB, will not recognise 256MB PC133 ram but will recognise 2 x 128MB sticks - any help with updates, settings etc appreciated

For the memory: You need i440Bx compatible memory sticks. 256MB does only work with sticks based on 16 memory chips and 16x8 internal organisation. 256MB, 16-chip, 32x4 does not work or only with 128MB. The same applies to 8-chip 256MB sticks.
