Upgraded Cpu, Black Screen now

Hello i recently upgraded my cpu on my Asus K8N from an AMD Sempron 1800mhz to an Mobile AMD Athlon 64 3400+ (AMN3400BIX5AR) and i found in a list that it isent supported but i have read about two guys who has each a Mobile Athlon 64 4000+ and that they have them working and that it isen't supported either in the Cpu support list at Asus.com. So i have tried the cpu but i get black screen, fans running and cdrom trying to read from a cd that isent there.
So my question is is there any way for me to modify bios to add AMN3400BIX5AR to the list of supported cpus?
Or modify something else than bios but i belive the problem lies within the bios.
I ofcourse have the latest bios.
Any help will be appreciated.
