1440x900 on A7V400-MX

Spent the whole night upgrading the bios from the oldest version to 1009.bin using AWDFLASH, AsusUpdt_V71003, AsusUpdt_70902 and AsusUpdt_V71401 which tells me "Sorry, there're no proper BIOS image files on the server!" !! 
Did it to get a widescreen resolution on this PC having mob: A7V400-MX and onboard gfx card: VIA/S3G UniChrome IGP for the new Acer x19w 19" widescreen monitor. BUT XP still shows NON-widescreen resolutions on the Display Properties settings!
Is 1009.bin the latest bios for this mobo?
The display driver version is 6.14.0010.0194 dated 12/07/04. Is this the latest too?
Saw that BIOS updates for various other mobos fixed this widescreen issue. Can someone pls patch 1009.bin send me an updated bios that permits me to choose 1440x900 resolution that is best for this new monitor?
